Police Officer’s Heartbreaking Discovery of His Wife in a Prostitution Spot

A police officer identified as Yeboah shared his experience of how he discovered his wife among prostitutes while on night patrol.

This revelation was compounded by an HIV diagnosis that left him struggling with suicidal thoughts and prompted him to seek counseling from Pastor Prince Elisha Osei Kofi during his confession session.

Yeboah, a member of a night patrol team of the Ghana police, explained that he had been married for more than six years and had a two-year-old child.

According to him, his duties often required him to be away from home at night, leaving his wife alone.

He explained that his team had been dispatched to the scene following complaints about prostitutes disturbing a neighbourhood and that when he arrived, he was shocked to find his wife among those present.

He says: “I have been married for over six years and have a two-year-old baby. I am a police officer on the night patrol team. One day, we received a call from our boss saying that someone had complained about prostitutes disturbing people behind his house, so we were asked to go and arrest them.

“When we arrived, I saw a woman and I was scared, but as I got closer, I realized it was my wife. I had left her at home before going to work, and with the clothes she was wearing, she was almost naked,” he explained.

He continued: “So we arrested them all and took them to the police station. But after leaving them there, I couldn’t control myself, so I was rushed to the hospital. I didn’t let my colleagues know that my wife was part of the group.”

“I was released around 4am and went home. The next morning around 8am she came home and I asked her about our child. She told me she had left him in the care of the neighbour next door so I went to pick up the child,” he said.

He also said he had to travel on an international mission as part of his duties that required a medical examination.

However, his plans were interrupted as after the test report he was diagnosed with HIV, which he believes he contracted from his wife.

“When I asked her, she asked me how much money I should give her so she could feed herself and our child. I told her I would go back to her family and report her, but she told me I had to continue.

“Unfortunately, I had to travel abroad and when I went for my medical tests for the trip, I realised that I now had HIV/AIDS.

“At that moment, I wanted to shoot myself in the head. What I’m going through is unbearable and I need counseling. That’s why I’m here,” he explains.
