A police officer is one of 17 people injured in incidents involving lighting rockets during celebrations before the Liverpool’s final title celebrations.
The Reds raised the Premier League trophy to Anfield in front of the jubilant fans after shooting 1-1 with the winners of the FA Cup Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The injuries aroused a warning from the Merseyside police when hundreds of thousands of fans had to go down to the city for the team parade high of the team.
CH Insp Chris Barnes said they wanted people to appreciate the festive atmosphere but urged fans not to use enlightening rockets.
The force said that a quantity of lighting rockets had been seized and also four drones which were stolen over Anfield in violation of a temporary air restriction in place above the ground.
He said: “We want all those who are witnessing today’s victory to spend a sure and pleasant moment. No one should have an injury due to the reckless actions of another individual.
“We know that people want to take advantage of the festival atmosphere in the city, but it is important that we were thinking of everyone’s safety and well-being.
“The parade will have its own special effects organized by professionals, including the guns and fireworks of confetti, which will add to the fantastic atmosphere in a safe and controlled way and my desire would be that people leave the professionals.”
