Police investigate alleged assault on Roy Keane, Sancho hits back at Ten Hag, Lionel Messi lives up to Hollywood billing

Jadon Sancho erred in publicly calling out Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
That’s according to talkSPORT pundit and former Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend, who gave his take on the winger’s statement.
Speaking on talkSPORT Breakfast, he said: “I find that if Ten Hag goes public ‘Jadon doesn’t train particularly well’ I would be annoyed if I was Jadon Sancho and he didn’t tell me. hadn’t said first.
“I’d be annoyed if he didn’t come up to me and say, ‘Listen, I need you more Monday through Friday, not to mention Saturday and Sunday I need you more during the week’.
“Now if he hasn’t said it, and all of a sudden he turns around and throws this at the press saying that Sancho isn’t doing enough in training, that would annoy you.
“[But] do you immediately jump on social networks? I don’t think that’s a good thing to do.
Rangers legend Ally McCoist added: “I think the problem Jadon Sancho has at the moment is that he has nowhere to go with his level of performance.
“If he’s playing well and he’s been kicked out of the team, then he might have a case.”
To which Townsend said: “He had a handful of decent games [since joining from Borussia Dortmund]that’s all he got.
