The authorities are looking for an incendiary who burnt down while trying to burn a car in Corona.
The bizarre incident occurred early Tuesday when the authorities say that a man jumped a metal fence of a house in the 900 block on Wakefield avenue and set fire to a black sedan in the front courtyard. The flames were so explosive that humans’ clothes also caught fire, the authorities said. We didn’t know if the fire was serious enough to cause injuries.
The owner’s surveillance cameras captured the moment before a flame ball explodes, which prompted the fire to jump on the fence and run away with his fire clothes. The man is then seen rolling on the ground to get out.
The criminal fire investigators of the Coroner’s fire service said that the path has been cold on the identity of man and a reason why he would target the house.

“For the moment, we believe that it is an act of random violence,” said captain of Corona Fire Daniel Yonan. “He is still free.”
Police and fire investigators request public help to locate and possibly identify the suspicious criminal fire that they described as a man in the thirties, 5 feet 6 inches at about 6 feet high. They said the suspect had light hair.
The man was seen for the last time fleeing the area in a more recent white van, perhaps a chevrolet or GMC, with tinted windows and light color rims.
Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest or identity of man can reach criminal fire investigators in (951) 736-2219.
