Police are investigating a series of sexual assaults in Pacific Beach, Balboa Park

San Diego police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to have been involved in a series of sexual assaults in Pacific Beach and Balboa Park that began last year.
Police said the attacker was seen riding a black Apollo scooter at the time of each incident.
The first reported offense occurred on the evening of Sept. 3 at Balboa Park, police Lt. Adam Sharki said in an email Friday.
The next three took place early last month – mid-morning on February 5 at Fanuel Park, on Fanuel Street near La Palma Street in Pacific Beach and a few hours later at Balboa Park. The latest occurred mid-morning Feb. 6 on the Pacific Beach boardwalk.
The man was described as in his 20s, 5ft 7in to 5ft 10in tall with a slim build, Sharki said. He has medium skin tone and shoulder length dark brown hair.
Investigators did not provide further information about the incidents.
Sharki said police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man and for the victims to come forward.
