Playoff FanDuel Picks: Tips on NFL DFS roster for Cardinals-Rams Wild Card One-Game Tournaments

| Business Top stories | World News

The Cardinals and Rams face off in an AFC West rematch in this Monday night playoff showdown, as two draft No. 1 QBs battle for their first career playoff victory . To go along with the two stud QBs, we have very productive RBs and volatile receivers on both sides. Our FanDuel single-game tournament lineup includes the two most expensive (and chalkiest) picks, so we’ll have to take a risk elsewhere to differentiate ourselves for DFS tournaments.

Here are the main scoring parameters for single-game FanDuel contests: The point total for “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but it doesn’t cost extra money like “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel’s default score is PPR half point and Four-point passing TDs, and there is no bonus for 100/300 yard plays like on DraftKings.

DFS FanDuel Picks for Unique Gameplay: Cardinals vs. Rams

Budget of $ 50,000, need at least one player from each team.

MVP: (1.5x points): QB Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($17,000)

The Cardinals offense hasn’t been quite the same since injuries to DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and running backs have slowed it down, but Murray still has four 21+ FD performances in his eight last games with a high of 30.82. His upside rivals any QB in the league, whether he’s putting up a huge passing stat line or rushing for a touchdown or two. The Rams are the toughest defense against the QBs, but Murray finished with about 20 points in both regular season matchups.

FLEX: WR Cooper Kupp, Rams ($16,000)

We don’t need to sell you Kupp, but it should be noted that we’re playing him “naked” without Matthew Stafford. Would anyone be shocked if Kupp had another monster day but Stafford turned the ball over multiple times? That’s the idea here, and most people play Kupp with Stafford, so if that happens, we’ll have a unique lineup.

FLEX: RB James Conner, Cardinals ($13,000)

Conner and Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) are obviously competing to see who can be hurt more, but for now Conner is the healthier of the two. He’s scored 11 times in double figures this season, and especially if Edmonds is limited, Conner has plenty of chances to crash there. It’s not as dependent on production reception, and since it’s a half PPR score, we consider it “safer”.

FLEX: WR Ben Skowronek, Rams ($6,000)

We’re taking a big bet with Skowronek as he only has a maximum of 6.3 FD points this season, but if he’s near 10 fantasy points he could pay in that range with expensive stallions. He needs to do just enough not to go completely flat in a favorable game for WRs to be a viable game. Sometimes winning lineups are simply the result of unexpected opportunities due to injury or other factors, so we’ll sign up to take that chance.

FLEX: WR AJ Green, Cardinals ($8,000)

Green has averaged just 5.6 FD points over his last three games, but he’s another player desperate for his first playoff win, and we’ll be rolling the dice for a vintage AJG performance. If the Murray and Cardinals offense is on, you have to think Green will be heavily involved.
