It was a few brilliant weeks for Newcastle given their success of the Carabao Cup last month, so today, we put you back to the most good memories for the club.

In September 1999, they beat Sheffield on Wednesday 8-0 on Wednesday with a legend from the club marking five times, but can you remember who aligned itself for the Magpies that day?

How to play

The goal of the game is to score as few points as possible!

If you guess a player in the first attempt, you score a point – so the lowest score to guess each player during the first attempt is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the right position, and it will become green. Guess a correct letter but in the wrong position, and it will turn yellow.

You have six assumptions for each player – and if you fail, we will reveal their identity for 11 points! You can also request a free letter, but it costs you a point.

So play to see if you get the best possible total of 11 – or fail on each player and mark 121.
