Slovenia is a small country sandwiched between Italy, Croatia, Hungary and Austria. Although many tourists generally flock to these neighboring countries, Slovenia seemed perfectly less crowded during my visit.
There are also so many things to see and do there. To start, there is the Lac de Postca Bled, with an idyllic church on an island in the middle of the water. Lake Bohinj is also nearby, which I found even more beautiful.
The capital, Ljubljana, is also charming with a castle on the hill, a winding river through the city, the pedestrian markets and a dragon as a mascot of the city.
Elsewhere in Slovenia, you can find everything, gorges and caves with waterfalls, vineyards and beaches.
