Pixel 9 series, Pixel Watch 3, Gemini AI and more

The annual Made By Google event is just around the corner, and this time around, we’re expecting the company to unveil a range of devices. The upcoming event has generated a lot of interest, with speculations and leaks surrounding the big reveal. However, it seems that the Pixel 9 series has managed to stay in the spotlight during the release, perhaps due to an earlier-than-expected launch date. The upcoming lineup isn’t the only announcement that users are looking forward to, as they’re eagerly awaiting other major product updates and AI upgrades.

Google plans to launch Pixel 9 series, Pixel Watch 3, and more on August 13

As the event date draws near, Google is gearing up for the reveal and the many products it plans to unveil, which is no mystery given the leaks and reports that have been emerging lately. The Pixel 9 lineup is usually slated for a fall release, but that trend is changing this time around, with all eyes on the upcoming Pixel models. Google is set to release four models, including a foldable version, which is a departure from its previous trend of releasing three models.

Pixel 9

The base Pixel 9 model will come with upgraded camera capabilities. It will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 48MP ultra-wide lens, which will improve image quality and also capture images in low-light conditions. The display size will be 6.3 inches and it will come with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Pixel 9 Pro

The Pixel 9 Pro will have the same screen size as the standard model, but more advanced features and specifications. It will also have a redesigned camera module with more protrusion for better performance and a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the Pixel 9 Pro gets an upgrade to a 42MP front camera. It comes with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

Pixel 9 Pro XL

The Pixel 9 Pro XL is said to be similar to the Pixel 8 Pro, with a 6.8-inch display. It is said to have a larger battery and an additional telephoto lens, improving camera performance. Like other models, it will be powered by the Tensor G4 SoC. The Pro XL is said to have a higher price tag, although it is supposed to follow the Pixel 8 Pro.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold

After entering the foldable market last year, Google is set to unveil its next model, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which will feature an upgraded camera module. It will sport a square camera array on the back panel and will be significantly lighter and thinner than its predecessor, opting for an 8-inch main display and a 6.3-inch cover display.

Pixel Watch 3

The Pixel Watch 3 will also debut alongside the Pixel lineup and is getting a lot of buzz thanks to its two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, which are more inclusive and target a broader user base. It will include key improvements, such as thinner bezels, a brighter display, and longer battery life.

Pixel Buds Pro 2

While there’s little information about the Pixel Buds Pro 2, reports indicate that Google will unveil them at the big event. They follow the same design and charging case, but add new colors for the wireless earbuds. They also significantly improve the sound quality to better match the competition.

AI Gemini
