Pit bull Benji is a perfect gentleman – Orange County Register

Raising: pit bull

Age: 1 year, 10 months

Genre: castrated male

Cut: 66 pounds

Benji’s story: After being told about some apartment complex rules, Benji’s owner had to turn him over to OC Animal Care. Ever since Benji came into the care of the shelter, he’s been just a true gentleman, keeping his living space tidy! He loves meeting other four-legged friends and is one of the school’s best walkers. As a one-year-old pit bull, Benji is incredibly active and would be best suited to live with adults or in a home with children over the age of 10 who can continue to work with him on his basic training. ⠀

Adoption fees: OC Animal Care is making the holidays a little furrier and brighter with waived adoption fees for dogs 25 pounds or more throughout December. In an effort to help furry friends find a home for the holidays, in addition to no adoption fees, the dogs will return home neutered, fully vaccinated and treated for parasites. They will also be microchipped. License fees for people living in areas of Orange County covered by the shelter are not included.

Adoption procedure: Call OC Animal Care at 714-935-6848 to schedule an appointment with Benji. Refer to his admission number, A1764550. Although walk-ins are available for convenience, walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis at the shelter located at 1630 Victory Road, Tustin. More information is available online.
