PFC | The state-run energy and infrastructure lender reported a 23 per cent rise in its March quarter consolidated net profit to ₹7,556 crore on the back of core revenue growth. On a standalone basis, profit increased from ₹3,695 crore to ₹4,549 crore. In 2023-24, consolidated net profit increased by ₹26,461 crore from last year’s ₹21,179 crore.
PFR housing financing | The mortgage financier reported a 7.5 per cent fall in profit to ₹1,091 crore in the fourth quarter. The LIC-promoted company had reported a profit of ₹1,180 crore in the year-ago period. Total revenue increased to ₹6,937 crore during the quarter under review from ₹6,415 crore during the same period last year.
Jindal Inox | The company reported a 34.6% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹500.7 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter, it recorded a net profit of ₹765.8 crore. The company’s revenue fell 3.2 per cent to ₹9,454 crore from ₹9,765 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
NCC | The construction company reported a 25.2 per cent increase in its net profit year-on-year at ₹239.2 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter, it recorded a net profit of ₹191 crore. The company’s turnover increased 31 per cent to ₹6,485 crore from ₹4,949 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Shepherd Paintings | The company reported a 19.5% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit at ₹222.6 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter, it recorded a net profit of ₹185.7 crore. Berger Paint’s revenue increased 3.1 per cent to ₹2,520.3 crore as against ₹2,443.6 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Honeywell Automation | The engineering company reported a 32.3% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹148.2 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter, it recorded a net profit of ₹112 crore. Its operating revenue increased 12 per cent to ₹950.7 crore from ₹849.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
CNL | The state-owned company reported an 86.2 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at ₹114.23 crore for the March quarter due to lower revenue. The company had posted a profit of ₹829.67 crore in the year-ago period. The company said its profit after tax for the financial year ended March 31, 2024 was ₹1,868 crore.
Dixon Technologies | The leading contract manufacturer reported a 24.7 per cent increase in its net profit year-on-year at ₹98.5 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter of FY23, it recorded a net profit of ₹79 crore. The CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted a profit of ₹115 crore for the quarter under review.
Titagarh Rail Systems | The engineering company reported a 64% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹79 crore for the fourth quarter. In the corresponding quarter, it recorded a net profit of ₹48.2 crore. The company grew 8 per cent to ₹1,052.4 crore from ₹974.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
