A person died Sunday afternoon after falling from the stands at the Ohio State University football stadium earlier this spring.
WCMH, the NBC affiliate in Columbus, reported that a university spokesperson confirmed that a person fell from the stands at Ohio Stadium during graduation. On Sunday afternoon, police and emergency services were still on site.
Additional guidance and resources will be made available to those affected, university officials said. The incident did not impact the graduation ceremony, which ended at 3 p.m.
