The Los Angeles wildfires have forced thousands of people to evacuate since erupting on Tuesday — including Dennis Quaid.
The actor was fleeing his Brentwood home on Friday when a reporter for NBC4 Los Angeles stopped him and awkwardly began speaking to him.
“How awkward, embarrassing, and downright rude,” one YouTube comment said.
“this interview was an odd mix of bizarre, comical, touching, and somewhat uncomfortable…” one person added on X.
Another said they were “embarrassed” for the reporter.
“Not them interviewing Dennis Quaid while he frantically tries to pack his belongings to evacuate,” read another tweet.
Someone else called it very cringe.
The phrase “a time and a place” certainly comes to mind…What do you all make of the clip? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
