Pelisero: “All signs point” to Aaron Rodgers Signing with the Steelers

The Pittsburgh steelers do not know who will still be their quarter-back leaving in 2025, but they could get closer to understanding it. During a segment on the initiates of NFL Network who discuss the recent launch session of Rodgers with the Steelers WR DK Metcalf, the initiate of the NFL, Tom Pelissero, said that “all signs point” to Rodgers to sign with the Steelers.

“It really seems to be a situation where all signs point to Aaron Rodgers as a quarter of the Steelers, but until he calls and says that I am there, they cannot be 100%sure.”

It looks like Rodgers tends to sign with the Steelers for a bit now, especially after visiting the team on March 21. But he still did not decided where he was going to play next season, even with the New York Giants apparently out of the race after having signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. There is also the question of whether he will play, because the 41 -year -old man could also consider retirement.

Pittsburgh is the only team that actively pursues Rodgers, and taking into account their visit to the team’s facilities and the launch session with Metcalf, it seems that it is divided to membership in the Steelers. Athletics previously reported that Rodgers wanted to sign with the Vikings du Minnesota if they expressed their interest, but they focus on the future with the choice of first round in 2024 JJ McCarthy. If Rodgers remains unsigned and the Vikings do not like what they see of McCarthy during the OTA, they could always rotate for Rodgers, although it seems unlikely.
