“Pekin Express”, “Love is in the meadow”, “Star Academy”… The Bretons are bursting the small screen
Residing between Pléneuf-Val-André (22) and La Bouillie (22), Charles Doré (18 years old) is in the 2024 class of “Star Academy” (TF1). Fan of Florent Pagny, Patrick Fiori, Mike Brant and Daniel Balavoine, Charles is also passionate about horse racing. This Saturday evening, he had to try to qualify for the semi-final of this new season of “Star Academy” which began on October 12, 2024.
Entitled “The Route of the Legendary Tribes” and hosted by Stéphane Rotenberg, the 20th season of “Pekin express” (M6) will be launched next Thursday, January 16, at 9:10 p.m., with ten pairs who will compete to complete the stages as quickly as possible across the four countries visited: Tanzania, South Africa, Lesotho and Mozambique. If no Breton appears in the pairs, two Costa Rican celebrities will act as mystery passengers

Originally from Paimpol (22), sports commentator Yoann Riou has already participated in Beijing Express, in 2022, but also in “Fort Boyard”, “Dancing with the Stars”, “Mask Singer”… Now 46 years old, he is also a columnist for Grosses Têtes (RTL) and for “Saturday d’en Rire” (France 3).

Hosted by Karine Le Marchand, the show “L’amour est dans le pré” (M6) resumes on Monday January 13, 2025, at 9:10 p.m. And for this 20th season, where farmers will once again seek to seduce single viewers , fifteen candidates are in the running, including two Bretons: Océane and Pierrick.
