Pedestrian killed in collision with 8 cars in Garden Grove
A 73-year-old pedestrian from Westminster was killed in an eight-car collision in Garden Grove on Saturday night, police said.
The crash happened around 5.54pm in the 12100 block of Lewis Street. near Chapman Avenue. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, Garden Grove Police Sgt. said Royce Wimmer. The identity of the pedestrian has not been revealed.
Details of how the crash happened were not immediately made available. Police are investigating but do not believe there was any alcohol or drugs involved.
