The closet of dressing room at the studio is that which can naturally support its professional risks, some players having to assess the performance of colleagues and former teammates, often after performances less than performance.
As such, Scholes detailed an opportunity where a particular player seemed to have taken shade with some of his comments.
“Players can be a little delicate these days,” he revealed, speaking of the debate of overlapping fans, brought by Sky Bet.
“I had a player this year, who contacted me and was not satisfied with some of the things I said. He wanted to meet me on the training ground, and I said: “Of course, no problem” and gave him my number but he never answered me.

“I would have done it. If I say things that I think and that he wants me to explain why, it would not have been a nice conversation, but I said that if they or someone else had a problem, there is my phone number.
He added: “ What we say (as experts) should not affect a player. The only people who should affect players are what the manager thinks, coaches staff and their teammates. Everything that is said on television must be taken with a pinch of salt.
“I don’t even know how many players today watch football and watch what we say. There was a united player who obviously took a little offense on what I said, but you face it. If you think you need an explanation or a meeting on a tea or a coffee, I would be happy to give it.

“I rarely make other games because I want to watch United, and I want to be at the United Games. Since I started to do, it’s not great (United’s performance).
“I don’t think I saw them winning for a long time and you look terribly at your club when it’s the club you played for, for 20 years – it’s the last thing you want.
“It would be so easy if you had been a Manchester City player for 10 years. Where we are now, it makes you look like a little bad guy.
While Scholes also revealed that he felt nerves before the expert’s commitments shortly after his retirement from the match, Jamie Carragher admitted that football on Monday evening allows him to “settle the agenda”.
The legend of Liverpool, speaking about the debate of overlapping fans, you brought by Sky Bet said that belonging as one of the flagship experts of Sky Sports also allows him to feel too.
“I love Monday evening football-I almost feel like playing the game,” he said.
“You have this buzz a few days before and you think of doing something that someone else has never done before. I would hate being the person who analyzes someone else’s analysis. I prefer to be the first to define the agenda or the story.
“When I started, social media does not release everyone’s analysis. You go on social networks and watch a player, you see a huge wire – and it will only be screenshots. I will not necessarily go on social networks to specifically verify who has done this, but I am the biggest accounts. I think, can I find something on which no one else has a cotton yet.
