The transfer saga involving Paul Pogba at Juventus could get a belated twist as news of Zinedine Zidane’s possible arrival as Paris Saint-Germain manager emerged on Friday.
Free agent Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of the month after a mixed second stint at the club and is expected to join former club Juventus next season.

Paul Pogba could make a sensational last-minute move to Paris Saint-Germain
But it looks like the Frenchman has put the brakes on his move to the Old Lady after learning Zidane was close to agreeing a deal to take over at the Ligue 1 champions.
According to RMC, the 29-year-old is awaiting Zinedine Zidane’s arrival at PSG before opening talks over a move to the French capital.
The France-based broadcaster also said Zidane ‘loves’ Pogba and tried to sign the France international midfielder when he was in charge at Real Madrid.
The news will be a blow to Juventus who expected to complete the deal in the coming days before a hero’s return to Turin.
Meanwhile, PSG are long-time admirers of Pogba and considered a cash deal with Manchester United last summer but pulled out when Lionel Messi unexpectedly became available.
But now seems the perfect time for Pogba and PSG to unite with the capital club in search of midfield reinforcements to bolster what has long been a problem for the club.

Pogba and Verratti could be an irrepressible midfield duo
Marco Verratti has been the club’s only top midfielder for too long, but his injury and suspension record means there has too often been a gaping hole in midfield.
Pogba – who shares a good relationship with Verratti – could form a dynamic partnership with the Italy international as PSG seek to step up their bid for a first-ever Champions League title.
PSG announced on Friday the acquisition of new “football consultant” Luis Campos, replacing outgoing sporting director Leonardo.
With President Nasser Al-Khelaifi returning to Paris after a business trip to Doha, things could start to get interesting at the Parc des Princes starting with the sacking of current manager Mauricio Pochettino.
