Patti LaBelle Rushed Off Stage At Milwaukee Concert Due To Bomb Threat

Patti LaBelle was rushed offstage at her concert in Milwaukee on Saturday night amid a bomb threat.
Social media videos taken by members of the public at the Riverside Theater show LaBelle crying as three men pulled her mic stand away and walked off stage as she spoke to the crowd.
One of the staff could be seen grabbing her by the arm and forcing her to drop a bouquet of flowers she was holding as they escorted her away without explanation.
Members of the singer’s band quickly followed, while puzzled onlookers were heard asking, “What happened?”
Organizers later confirmed that the show was halted, then postponed, due to a major security threat.

“Tonight’s Patti LaBelle show at the Riverside Theater has been postponed following a bomb threat investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department,” the Pabst Theater Group said in a statement.
After LaBelle, 78, was removed from the stage, authorities evacuated everyone from the theater. They are continuing to investigate the incident, according to a police statement. shared by a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel journalist.

“All customers have been safely evacuated,” the statement said. “Police are clearing the facility at this time. The investigation is smooth and ongoing.
Fans were quick to flood social media, including one person who shared video footage taken outdoors the theater, as patrons poured into the street.

“We don’t know if we can go back inside the room,” said the woman filming the video.
“It would be at the Riverside Theater if we could go back inside, but now it’s all shut down.”
