Patti LaBelle rushed off stage after bomb scare at Milwaukee Riverside Theater

Patti LaBelle was rushed off stage in the middle of a show in Milwaukee on Saturday night after the venue was hit with a bomb threat.
The disturbing moment at the Riverside Theater was captured on camerashowing two men rushing onto the stage and grabbing LaBelle’s mic stand as she held a bouquet of flowers and spoke to the crowd.
“Hold on. Wait!” LaBelle cries as one of the men grabs her by the arm and forces her to drop the bouquet. Another man in black runs from stage right and rips off LaBelle’s free arm.
Laughter from the audience quickly turns to confused cooing as the men escort LaBelle off the stage and the musicians abandon their stations to chase after the godmother of soul.
Authorities have evacuated everyone from the theater and are investigating the threat, according to a police statement shared by a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel journalist.

Another video taken outside the theater shows customers waiting on the street for an update on the situation.
“We don’t know if we can go back inside the room,” the woman taking the video said. “It would be at the Riverside Theater if we could go back inside, but now it’s all shut down.”
