The white lotus Season 3 has been over for almost a week – and we are still in shock. The shocking final was a real Russian mountain – Lochlan narrowly avoided death after having made a smoothie in a dirty mixer filled with poison, while the spell of Chelsea and Rick was sealed in a tragic shooting. It turns out that the final also had shocks for the actors, many of them trying to avoid spoilers by reading their parts of history – in fact, Parker Posey even “forgot” who died. Patrick Schwarzenegger also left a few surprises. As the actor said The Hollywood ReporterA particular scene was a huge shock. “I was really moved by the final scene with the three ladies, in particular by the monologue of Carrie (Coon),” he said.

In the final scene between the so-called “Blob Blonde”, Coon is Finally Honest with her friends about the way she really felt on vacation. “When I am with you guys, it’s so transparent what my choices were and my mistakes,” said Laurie de Coon, before admitting that she has “no belief system”. She says: “But I had this epiphany today: I do not need religion or God to give meaning to my life, because time gives it meaning. We started this life together. I mean, we cross it, but we are always together. And I look at you guys and I feel significant and I cannot explain very deep I am happy that you have a good life. Their friendship is far from perfect – in fact, many could even judge that it is toxic. But for Laurie, she is always one of the most significant things in her life, just as she is.

And apparently, Schwarzenegger liked to look at this achievement taking place.
“I did not know in advance where their scenario was going,” he said. “They mainly filmed their scenes before arriving … I have always been surprised to know where the spectacle went with them, all the different guys and the party and all the fights. But I loved the way they succeeded, and the way this beautiful monologue linked it all together. It was a perfect end for them, I thought.”

Coon recently talked to Variety About his highly discussed final monologue, praising his stage partners for adding additional diapers of meaning at the time. “Leslie Bibb and Michelle Monaghan and I have lived together in Thailand for six months, and we had our own friendship experience during these six months which, in some respects, reflects the ups and downs of what it means to be a family and what it means to be new friends, which we have become,” she said. “So, this is the way they received it. The only way to do something like that with any truthful is because of the people who listen to you. The best job happens between people. I therefore give them all the merit of having helped me to stay focused at that time.”
