The former corner half of the Cardinals of Arizona Patrick Peterson retires with the franchise, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Peterson had teased a return to Arizona last week and held a press conference on Monday in Temple.
“It was nothing like taking off with the Bird gang on Sunday,” he posted on Instagram. “See you next week.”
The cornerback joined the cardinals as a first round choice (n ° 5 in total) in the draft of the 2011 NFL after spending three seasons in LSU.
He spent 10 years with cardinals from 2011 to 2010 (154 departures), recording 28 interceptions and 91 passes defended to accompany 499 plated, including 10 for losses, 4.0 bags, two forced escapes and four sure QB.
