Patrick Mahomes has ‘crazy’ five-word tweet that fans love as Chiefs QB can’t contain his NBA excitement

Patrick Mahomes is glued to the screenjust like you.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback took to social media Monday because he couldn’t contain his emotions.

“Brother, this game is crazy!!!!” Mahomes tweeted.

A hashtag for the NBA Playoffs followed, while Mahomes’ post received more than 6,000 likes.

“Yes, it’s true,” one fan replied.

“IS NOT IT!!!” » posted a second fan.

After a somewhat boring Play-In Tournament, the playoffs caught fire on Monday.

The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104-101, thanks to a wild final minute that included a critical Philly turnover, multiple New York shots and a huge 3-pointer from Donte DiVincenzo.

“Bro, the Sixers totally CHOKE, gave the game away,” one fan responded to Mahomes’ tweet.

Hours later, the Denver Nuggets staged a tremendous comeback, overcoming a 20-point deficit and winning on a brilliant Jamal Murray stab at Anthony Davis.

The Nuggets took a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference first round, while LeBron James and the Lakers are in big trouble again in the playoffs.

“I just lost my balance and fell,” Murray said. “I think AD was in my way or someone was in my way and I heard everyone screaming and that’s how I knew it had gone in.”

As Murray’s highlights took over social media, fans were still discussing their love for the NBA playoffs on Mahomes’ account.

“I love the playoffs, damn it was an ending,” one fan posted.

“What a finish!” said a second fan.

While the Lakers and Knicks were enjoying last-second thrillers, Joel Embiid was on the other side of the sport.
