Passengers speak of ‘pure terror’ on Singapore Airlines flight hit by turbulence

A Briton has died and authorities said dozens of passengers were injured, some seriously, after a flight hit severe turbulence over the Indian Ocean and had to make an emergency landing in Bangkok . The airline’s Flight SQ321 was flying from London Heathrow Airport to Singapore, with 211 passengers and 18 crew on board, when it was hit by turbulence on Tuesday, hitting those inside from the plane.
