Houston – The firefighters at the Houston fire service airport was called on Sunday morning at George Bush Intercontinental Airport after a United Airlines flight left because of an engine problem, according to The Federal Aviation Administration.
According to United Airlines, the flight of the flight of 1382, an Airbus A319 on the way to Laguardia airport in New York, stopped takeoff around 8:35 am after obtaining a engine warning. The plane remained on the track while the passengers were safely evacuated using the blades and inflatable stairs before being transformed to the terminal.
United confirmed that none of the 104 passengers or the five crew members on board had been injured. A replacement plane was organized to take travelers to destination, with a new take -off time scheduled at 12:30 p.m.
The FAA said it was investigating the incident.
