The letter is the last step in the fight against the Budget Committee on the moment when the Commission should provide EU species organizations.
This started when the European center-right party said that the Commission had paid NGOs to put pressure on the Parliament in favor of the Green Agreement, through the so-called life financing program. The Commission then revised its contracts with the NGOs concerned.
After the EPP asked that the subsidies granted to Transparency International and other green NGOs be examined, the left -wing groups required that the contracts granted to companies are also verified.
More specifically, MEPs asked to see contracts concerning: the asylum, migration and integration fund; The justice program of the Ministry of Justice of the Commission, DG Just; the program of life; Support for information measures relating to agricultural policy and common contracts managed by the Commission’s Department of Agriculture, DG Agri; the internal security fund police program; And the program of rights, equality and citizenship, as well as the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program, both managed by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Commission, DG Home.
They also targeted the Conneting Cities to Integration Action project, the integrated European social dialogue projects, the contract for the alternative fuel infrastructure installation and the project mobile for UE.
