Park Resource Ranger found dead at Tyler State Park Creek, Pennsylvania State Police Report | County Central Bucks

Newtown TWP., Pennsylvania – A RANGER OF DCNR Park Resources which has been missing since Friday was found dead in Buccks County, according to Pennsylvania SATE police.

Investigators say he disappeared after his boat has taken a tour of Tyler’s state park, which caused a three -day search.

Alec Campbell, a 38 -year -old Delaware County resident Resided Ranger with Le Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) was found dead in Neshaminy Creek in Tyler State Park, according to the press release.

The secretary of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Cindy Adams Dunn, says that she spoke with the woman and the family of Campbell, telling them that they thought of DCNR.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of Alec Campbell, a dedicated member of our Pennsylvania State staff,” said DCNR secretary Cindy Adams Dunn. “I spoke with his wife and family, and in the name of all of us in DCNR, I want them to know that they are in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult period. Our hearts go to them, as well as to the friends of Alec, to relatives and to colleagues. Each day, the employees of the State Park play a vital role in visitors, the protection of our natural spaces and the safety of all time. Passion has touched many lives, and its loss is deeply felt throughout our community.

The Pennsylvania State police troop (PSP) M – The criminal investigation unit conducted the incident investigation.

The coroner of Bucks County will determine the cause and the mode of death.

Tyler’s state park in Bucks County will remain closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday.
