- Crios O’Hare scored after only 3.68 seconds
- The previous record in Australia was 3.69 seconds
- Belonged to the old Socceroo Damian Mori
Crios O’Hare created the story recently during the Australian Cup – and the goalkeepers facing the Marlin Coast Rangers FC are officially in opinion after the brilliant objective.
O’Hare, 38, is the club manager of the club – and he entered the records after a match against Stratford Dolphins in the far north of Queensland on February 8.
Looking for the GLOVEMAN of its kick -off line, O’Hare tried its luck halfway – and that paid dividends.
Revealing, it only took 3.68 seconds to find the back of the net – eclipizing the 1995 record held by Damian Mori, when the old Socceroo scored after 3.69 seconds for Adelaide City against Sydney United in The former National Football League (NSL).
“As soon as I contacted, it was out of the boot and seeing him go through the air, it looked pretty good,” said O’Hare.
“This is one of those things I suppose, you don’t really plan, but you saw the goalkeeper of his line a little and thought it was worth a crack.
“It was nice to see him enter.
O’Hare – which is a legend of football in Cairns given its previous success in a certain number of clubs – likes its share of the history of football.

The previous record was held by Damian Mori, when the old Socceroo (photo) scored after 3.69 seconds for Adelaide City against Sydney United in the former National Football League in 1995
“I actually remember the goal of Damian Mori in 1995, I really liked him as a player,” said O’Hare.
“I tried it a few years ago against (local rivals of the FNQ) Leichhardt and he came out of the transverse bar … It was therefore pleasant to see him at that time.
Gavin Stokes, who plays in the non-Ligue of Scotland, holds the world record for the fastest goal of all time in a recorded football match.
He scored after only 2.10 seconds for Maryhill against Clydebank in a 2017 match.
It is understood that the brilliant effort of Stokes was 0.1 seconds faster than the strike from Vuk Bakic of a confrontation between GSP Polet and FK Dorcol in the Serbian second division in 2012.
