Paris Hilton announces her second album “Infinite Icon”

Paris Hilton is officially back in her pop princess days. The star announced yesterday that her second album, titled Infinity icon, should be released on September 6, with the first single expected in June. This will be Hilton’s first album since her 2006 debut, Pariswhich, of course, featured the iconic bop “Stars Are Blind.”

Hilton made the announcement on Instagram in a series of photos teasing the album’s pink gothic logo. A day earlier, she posted a video on Instagram announcing that the announcement would take place at 11:11 a.m. The video featured an all-star cast including Kris Jenner, Benny Blanco, Lukas Gage, Ashley Benson, Demi Lovato, Paula Abdul and sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning all asking, “What’s the big secret, Paris?”

Although Infinity icon is Hilton’s first studio album since 2006, she has released a number of singles over the past few decades, including last year’s “Hot One,” and this year’s “Fame Won’t Love You,” a collaboration with Sia. Last year, she also took inspiration from Taylor Swift’s book by releasing “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version),” a collaboration with Kim Petras. And that’s not all: She’s also worked as a DJ, turned her memoir into a miniseries, and started her family through surrogacy, welcoming son, Phoenix, and daughter, London, in 2023.

Hilton previously revealed the news that a second Sia-produced album was in the works during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last October, telling Fallon, “Yeah, I’m recording the new album right now.” »

She then spoke to Flaunt about the project. “The album has it all,” she teased. “I love pop music so much and I feel like someone needs to back it up, so I’m here to do it.” She then promised that the album would contain everything from “pop bops” to ballads inspired by her memoir, Paris: Memoirs.

It may have been two decades since Hilton’s last album, but based on this announcement, it appears she has every intention of cementing her place in music history as an “icon infinite.”

Infinity icon is available to pre-save here.
