The British have chosen a symbolic location for the occasion: Bletchley Park, 50 minutes (by train) north of London. It was here that Laner Turing used its Enigma machine to break the secret codes of the Nazis during the Second World War.

The site was too small for a world summit, forcing the organizers to build new reception facilities.
France wants to avoid this by locating its summit at the Grand Palais, a grandiose place built to host the Paris exhibition in 1900, and in several public buildings in the Paris region, including the Polytechnic Institute for events on the theme of science on February 6 and 7. and the National Library – National Library of France – and the concierge for the cultural weekend on February 8 and 9.

The European Commission raised 2 million euros and the French government has also requested a number of sponsors, according to a French summit official granted anonymity to speak freely.
France puts 11 million euros on the table. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is in charge of the event, contributes to 2 million euros, a large part of that intended for world reception leaders.
The Ministry of the Economy is the largest contributor, putting more than 3 million euros to help enhance France’s attractiveness for investors. The Ministry of Armed Forces, which will organize its own event, has also contributed 1.5 million euros.
