Paddy McGuinness broke his silence after the admission of Andrew Flintoff that he did not speak to his former Top Gear co-animator since his horror accident.

Now, however, McGuinness has opened its doors on his relationship with Flintoff, nicknamed Freddie, admitting his love for his old co-star, according to The Mirror.
“I love Fred. He’s a good boy. The crazy thing that I pass so well with him is that I absolutely do not know the cricket. I never looked at him, I have never been in it and I never played it. I knew Freddie and Ian Botham and Michael Vaughan… the famous names.
“Me, Fred and Chris (Harris) every day, we worked together, we laughed. It was such a good experience. It was one of these jobs for me, because someone who was not well traveled to visit the places we did at Top Gear and leave the beaten track.
“It is only when I think about the things we have done that I think of what privilege is to have done this job. Freddie and I always send a message. But everyone has a busy life.
“It’s like with every program I do, you work with people and you stay in touch but no one lives near everyone. It’s like lightning in a bottle bring together everyone.
Flintoff and McGuinness had a clear chemistry on the camera and shared a close relationship, but the former cricket player expressed his concern that seeing his former co-star would bring painful memories.
“We were in contact,” he said. “When I saw Chris, we got rid of, he turned upside down and I got a little upset.
“I feel bad, I was not more in contact with him and Paddy. I think there were comments that I did not speak with Paddy for a while and a game is a bit for me.
