Overnight storms close roads across the state

(WFSB) – Roads across the state have been closed for storm-related reasons.

Storms hit Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning.

The state Department of Transportation has maintained a rolling list of closures.

Here is the list as of 6 a.m. Thursday.

• BRIDGEWATER – Clapboard Road (SR 867) CLOSED between Hut Hill Road and Canfield Road due to a fallen tree in wires. Reported Wednesday June 26 at 9:47 p.m.
• NEW MILFORD – RT 7 CLOSED @ FORT HILL RD DUE TO A TREE ENDED IN THE WIRE. Reported Wednesday June 26 at 9:50 p.m.
• NEWINGTON – RT 176 CLOSED between CHURCH HILL RD AND HOPKINS RD DUE TO CUT TREE IN THE WIRES. Reported Wednesday June 26 at 11:24 p.m.
• GREENWICH – I-95 Southbound CLOSED Exit 5 due to accident (Overturned Tractor). Reported Wednesday June 26 at 11:43 p.m.
• HEBRON – RT 85 CLOSED @ EAST STREET FOR CUT TREE IN WIRE. Reported Thursday June 27 at 12:31 a.m.
• MANCHESTER – RT 83 CLOSED AT SPRING ST DUE TO FELLEN TREE INTO WIRES. Reported Thursday, June 27 at 1:01 a.m.
• SIMSBURY – RT 309 CLOSED @ RUTHIES LN DUE TO LOW TREE AND WIRES. Reported Thursday, June 27 at 1:16 AM.
• BURLINGTON – RT 4 CLOSED @ PUNCH BROOK RD FOR CUT TREE WITH WIRES. Reported Thursday June 27 at 1:44 a.m.
• KENT – Route 7 CLOSED at Bulls Bridge Road due to a tree downed into the wires. Reported Thursday, June 27 at 1:44 a.m.
• HARWINTON – RT 222 CLOSED @ DELAY RD, TREE DOWN WITH WIRES. Reported Thursday, June 27 at 1:48 AM.
• NEW HARTFORD – Route 202 CLOSED at Cedar Lane due to a lowered traffic light. Reported Thursday June 27 at 1:50 a.m.
• CANAAN – Route 7 CLOSED at Kellogg Road due to a fallen tree in wires. Reported Thursday June 27 at 1:54 a.m.
• GRANBY – Route 10 CLOSED between Floydville Road and Spring Glen Drive due to a fallen tree and electrical wires. Reported Thursday June 27 at 2:26 a.m.
• PUTNAM – Route 21 CLOSED at Heritage Road due to a fallen tree in wires. Reported Thursday June 27 at 2:43 a.m.
• WINCHESTER – Route 183 CLOSED in Stadler Heights due to a fallen tree in wires. Reported Thursday June 27 at 2:57 a.m.
• TORRINGTON – Route 183 CLOSED at West Pearl Road due to a tree downed on wires. Reported Thursday, June 27 at 3:01 a.m.
• TORRINGTON – SR 800 (Winsted Rd) CLOSED on College Avenue due to a fallen tree in wires. Reported Thursday June 27 at 3:08 a.m.
