Lecornu is the third rotating prime minister after France saw last year’s SNAP elections end in a hung parliament. Since then, political instability and uncertainty have been the name of the game. Macron convinced Lecornu to stay until at least Wednesday evening to try to force a budget one last time. But as things stand, we might just head for an early parliamentary election instead.
