Oscar Piastri beats Lando Norris to take the post

Oscar Piastri defeated McLaren teammate Lando Norris at pole at Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1.

Piastri made the difference in the last series of the Q3, putting two tenths on Norris after the pair was closely equaled before.

During the first round in the top-10 Shootout, Piastri opened its doors with a round of 1m1,836, with its teammate Norris responding with an effort of 1m1.819s, only 0.017 faster than the Australian.
