Oscar Piastri led pole to win the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday while McLaren used a one -shop strategy to finish a two dominant with Lando Norris Second.
George Russell finished third in a Mercedes with the world champion of Red Bull, Max Verstappen, snatched fourth place after an exciting late pass on Charles Leclerc de Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton returned home sixth behind his teammate after his first Ferrari victory in the Shanghai Sprint race on Saturday when Piastri was second.
“It was an incredible weekend, the car was pretty mega,” said Australian Piastrian, who had presented himself second a week at the opening of the Melbourne season before a late rotation.
“Very, very happy. The hard was a much better tire than everyone expected, so going to the end was a bit of a surprise, but a good surprise.”

Norris had to face a late braking problem that forced her to settle for second place rather than challenging his teammate.

Russell left second and knew it was imperative to try to take the lead in the line.
Instead, it was tight by Piastri on the long complex of First Bend, which allowed Norris to go to the second step.
The two Ferraris exceeded Verstappen on the same turn, relegating the world champion from the fourth to sixth place.
Leclerc lost part of his front wing when he brushed Hamilton’s right rear wheel, but that did not affect his rhythm.
Hamilton was the first of the overlaps to dive for a new rubber around 14.
All the others followed for hard tires with Russell exceeding Norris in the fray.
But the McLaren showed a higher pace and arose at the end of the pit directly using DRS.

Hamilton began to fight against the hard enclosure and allowed his teammate spent at the 21st the Leclerc lot to attack Russell.
In turn 38, Hamilton had to put himself again for new tires, leaving him behind Verstappen.
The five before remained away because it became clear that they would try to make hard tires last until the end of the 56 laps.
Verstappen had treated his tires throughout the race, which allowed him to have a late load on Leclerc and pass the Ferrari at the start of the Tour 54.
Haas finished with two cars in the points while Esteban Ocon was seventh and the recruit Ollie Bearman 10th.
The other point scorers were the teenager Mercedes Kimi Antonelli in eighth with Alex Albon Ninth in her Williams on her 29th anniversary.
