Google could be forced to sell its Chrome browser, and although it is difficult to imagine someone else who runs the ship, there is a lot of interest in Google competition in Openai, Perplexity and Yahoo.
In the middle of the current antitrust trial against Google, new details have revealed that there are three big names ready to buy Chrome if Google is indeed forced to sell the browser.
These names start with Openai, Google’s largest rival in IA space today. The company told a judge that he would be interested in buying Chrome as indicated by Reuters Earlier this week. The Executive of Openai who said it added that the company had made an offer with Google concerning the implementation of Google’s research technology in Chatgpt, an offer that Google has shot down. An Openai email in Google said that the use of “Google API … would allow us to provide a better product to users”.
Perplexity then revealed that he wanted to buy chrome like The penis Reports. Dmitry Shevelenko from Perplexity said he “thinks) we could do it) in response to the question of the judge on the question of whether someone else could perform chrome on the same scale as Google without reducing quality or invoicing.
Finally, it has now been revealed that Yahoo is also interested in buying Chrome, because the company has apparently worked on its own web browser project. A “prototype” of this personalized browser is apparently in preparation, but the director general of Yahoo Search, Brian Provost, says that the purchase of chrome would be faster in terms of rise in power, adding that Chrome is “undoubtedly the most important strategic player on the web” and believing that the share of the Yahoo search engines could jump in “two figures” to buy Chrome.
What do you think? Do you want to continue using Chrome with one of these brands behind the wheel?
