One dead, six injured after shooting in northeast Washington DC-World News, Firstpost

Washington: The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said Monday evening that one person was killed and six others injured in a shooting in northeast DC

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of F Street.

At a press conference on Monday evening, MPD leader Robert Contee confirmed the death of one person and the injuries of six people in the shooting, according to a wusa9 report

None of the victims have been identified, however, Contee confirmed that all of the victims were male. No suspicious information has been released so far, the report adds.

The shooting is the latest violent crime incident in the district. Police say 11 people were shot in DC in less than 12 hours in six different shootings over the weekend.
