ONCROLOGY FOR ALAN A HINES

Mr. Alan A. Hines. 61 years old, husband of Monica Dale Hines, from 517 Summit Dr. Lockhart, died Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Mr. Hines was born on May 25, 1964 in Union, a son of the late Don Hines and the late Ramoth Austin O’shields and her husband Frank O’shields. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Brown’s Creek. Mr. Hines was a business painter and retired from Sam Harris Painting.

In addition to his wife, Monica, Mr. Hines is survived by her daughters, Chelsey Wilson and his friend Jamal Dawkins d’Union, Leslie McCoy and her husband Zach de Spartanburg, Alaina Byrd and her husband Ljahh also of Spartanburg and a step-son, Christopher Wilson and his wife. Tara Lynn de Leland, nc. He also leaves to mourn the grandchildren, Taliyah Mitchel (The love of his life), Christian Wilson, Natalie Wilson, Eason Wilson, Conner Wilson, Sophia Smith, Izabella Smith, Amelia Smith, Mallery McCoy and William McCoy, Sisters, Laura Crisp (Doni), Kristy Griffin (Al), Brother-in-Hear Lisa Shetley (Ronnie) and his mother-in-law, Mary Austin. Mr. Hines was preceded by a sister, Janet Hines and a brother, Scotty Hines.

The funeral will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday June 8, 2025 in Sr Holcombe Funeral Chapel, led by Reverend Ricky Cook. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel before the funeral.

Active carriers will understand Joey Blackwell and Jamal Dawkins.
