Olympic Games: the oldest Olympic champion Agnes Keleti, who escaped the Shoah, dies at 103


Gymnast Agnes Keleti, the oldest Olympic champion in the world, died Thursday in Hungary. Banned from sporting activity during the war because of her Jewish origins, this Hungarian sportswoman managed to recover from the trauma of the Shoah by winning ten Olympic medals, at the age of 30, during the Helsinki and Melbourne Games.
