Olivia Wilde looks sullen in first sighting since her ‘split’ from Harry Styles

Olivia Wilde’s ex-nanny has slammed the star’s “ugly” personality and says she’s “ecstatic”.

The nanny, whose exclusive revelations about the pair to DailyMail.com sparked gossip around the world, couldn’t hide her joy after it emerged Wilde and Styles had split on Friday night.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘That’s what happens when the ugly finally comes out!’ I’m beyond ecstatic that Harry dropped her like a hot potato!’ It remains unclear who dumped whom, with a source close to the couple saying they had separated.

The nanny’s rant came when Wilde was seen grimacing and looking sullen on her first public outing since it was reported she had split from Styles in exclusive photos from DailyMail.com.

The Don’t Worry Darling actress, 38, was pictured at a Los Angeles flea market on Saturday, with the pain of the alleged split from Styles, 28, etched on her face as she browsed rails clothes and meeting friends.

A male and female acquaintance was pictured hugging a dejected-looking Wilde, who is once again coping with single life. After distracting herself with retail therapy, Wilde picked up her two children from a music class.

She and Styles are said to have split in the months leading up to their separation. They have been rocked by a host of humiliating revelations from Wilde’s former nanny shared exclusively with DailyMail.com

The nanny has set the internet on fire after revealing that Wilde’s ex Jason Sudeikis – the father of her two children – lay down in front of her car realizing she had left to see Styles with a batch of her now famous dressing.

New York-born Wilde and Styles – a singer from Cheshire in England who shot to fame with boy band One Direction – have come under greater scrutiny after starring together in critical drama Don’t Worry Darling.

The film, which was also a commercial flop, sparked a storm of global drama after it was claimed that co-star Florence Pugh fell out with Wilde.

In another delightful twist, Wilde’s former nanny claimed that Styles and Pugh had an affair before they got involved with Wilde – with this embarrassing claim reportedly derailing their two-year relationship.

At the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling at the Venice Film Festival in September, Pugh strutted spectacularly at the end of a screening.

It seemed to confirm the bad blood between the British actress and Wilde, who were seated at opposite ends of the row they were in.

Despite a taste for celebrity girlfriends, Styles has long proclaimed he is shy, with the white-washed attention on him and Wilde likely to have hidden their romance below the waterline.

A source close to the couple tried to put a positive spin on their implosion of romance after sharing details of the split with People magazine.

This friend said: “They are still very close friends. Right now, they have different priorities that separate them.

Wilde was reportedly unable to accompany her as she has to stay in Los Angeles with her eight-year-old son Otis and six-year-old daughter Daisy from her nine-year relationship with American film star Jason Sudeikis.

She and Styles would also struggle to agree on which side of the Atlantic they would make their home.

When the two stars’ 10-year relationship began in 2020 during the production of Don’t Worry Darling, Wilde was still living with Sudeikis. She then insisted that her relationship with the American star was over long before she got together with Styles.

The 38-year-old had left a heartbroken Sudeikis drunkenly declaiming ‘she left us’ to the children’s nanny after he abruptly dumped him for the British pop star on November 8 last year – but then continued to return home and told him she loved him in the weeks following the split, an insider revealed.

The warm messages and visits continued until December 29, when Sudeikis and the nanny flew to London. Wilde then went public with her new boyfriend Styles five days later.

The nanny says she was devastated by their early days as a couple, even though she knew about their romance and how heartbroken Sudeikis was that Wilde was with someone else.

The nanny told DailyMail.com: ‘When I saw Olivia holding hands as a couple with Harry in the news [in January 2021]I was shocked because just a month before, when we were in LA, she was texting Jason saying she loved him.

‘Text messages and voice messages. He let me hear the voicemails and text messages. Then Jason said, she was right there [at the house] and she was naked in the pool and then she slept naked with me in bed.
