Olivia Munn criticized the entirely feminine and starry blue team to go to space while ordinary Americans find it difficult to buy eggs.
During the episode of Thursday of “Today With Jenna and Friends”, Jenna Bush Hager and Munn discussed the female crew – which includes Katy Perry, Gayle King and Lauren Sánchez – who explode for space on April 14.
Munn seemed to hesitate to talk about the next mission and asked: “What are they doing?”
“I know it’s probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now,” shared Munn, 44, while wondering later: “What are you going to do in space? What are you doing up there?”
Bush Hager, 43, explained that the total trip should last only 11 minutes, and they will spend four of these minutes in the floating space around the rocket and admiring the earth from afar.
Munn continued to seem puzzled and compared the test to their Russian “clean” of Mountain Mountain mountains – referring to the famous Disney themed parks.
“If you want to go to space, why do you need to tell us about it, you know?” Munn asked. “It’s like, going up there, have a good time, go down.”
The actress “Newsroom” also stressed that there was “so much money” spent on effort.
“I know that it is probably unpleasant, but as it is so much money to go to space, and there are many people who cannot even afford eggs,” she added, referring to the significant peak of egg prices in recent months.
Bush Hager even perplexed Munn when she informed her that the whole crew “goes to glamor” – with their hair and makeup.
Munn looked amazed and joked: “What? They said that out loud?!”
“What is it for? Is it historic that you go on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous,” admitted Munn. “Spatial exploration had to deepen our knowledge and help humanity. What will they make up there who improved us here? ”
The actress also wondered “if all this rocket fuel is good” for the environment.
“This is a lot of resources spent,” she continued.
Bush Hager –– Who is friends with King – has tried to keep the subject from logistics away by asking several questions about the way in which the false eyelashes of women would last in anti -gravity conditions.
Perry, King and Sánchez will be joined by the former scientist of NASA rockets, Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn to fly with Blue Origin – the private space company belonging to Sánchez’s Fiancé, billionaire Jeff Bezos.
