Olivia Dunne took the time to scroll through the Instagram comments in response to her latest social media selfies and the LSU gymnast joked that she was “scared” by some of the enthusiastic responses.

Dunne, 21, shared three photos of herself posing in a black dress earlier this week and, as with each of her social media posts, the likes and comments poured in.

One fan responded with a poem about how Dunne “captured my heart in a way I never thought possible” – to which she simply replied: “I’m scared.”

Another follower declared her devotion to her by dreaming of holding Dunne’s hand, to which she responded by alluding to her relationship with MLB prospect Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

“I hate to break it to you…” Dunne responded.

And in another, where a fan complimented Dunne on her outfit, she joked that dog Roux chose it for her.

Last week, Dunne had one of her best nights of gymnastics with LSU, earning a 9.90 despite being called upon to anchor the LSU Tigers in floor exercises on short notice.

In a contest against BYU, Oregon State and No. 15 Minnesota, Dunne replaced Kiya Johnson at the last minute to anchor a standout team performance.

“We ultimately pulled Kiya for no particular reason,” head coach Jay Clark said. “We knew the competition was close and we had to take it easy on his body.”

While being a talented gymnast, Dunne’s profile has skyrocketed thanks to her online presence.

According to SportsKeeda, Dunne has earned around $6 million from endorsement deals primarily from social media.
