Olivia Culpo Once Again Defends Her Decision to Get Married After Wedding NFL Star Christian McCaffrey

Olivia Culpo has once again found herself forced to defend the decisions she made for her marriage to San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey late last month.

Culpo, who has previously been criticized by social media influencers for her “pick-me-girl” attitude, faced similar criticism from another influencer.

Jessica Weslie Arena said in a TikTok video Tuesday that she felt a “choice vibe” after reading Culpo’s interview with Vogue and discussing the type of makeup she wore.

Culpo did not wear mascara, lip liner or eyebrow makeup, Vogue reported.

“I’ve never felt more beautiful than when I was in my gown and veil. I really wanted the simplicity of each element to come together perfectly,” she told the magazine.

Weslie Arena said Vogue should point out that what Culpo wasn’t wearing made him feel “weird.”

But Culpo didn’t decide to take the remark lightly. She fired back in the comments section.

“It was an interview…they asked me what my makeup was…” she wrote.

These criticisms are not the first and probably will not be the last. Even McCaffrey has come to his wife’s defense.

A fashion influencer criticized the dress Culpo wore for her wedding day, describing her long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana ball gown as “modest.”

“I’ve been a wedding dress designer for four years now, and I’ve never said this before, but I don’t like this wedding dress,” influencer Kennedy Bingham, who goes by the moniker Gown Eyed Girl, said in a video posted to social media.

McCaffrey responded to Bingham’s comment by criticizing her for sharing an “evil” post.

“What a bad thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world like my beautiful wife does,” he said in the Instagram video.

Bingham added that while she had no problem with the “simple and elegant” dress, she said it had “no personality.”

She captioned the video: “From Miss Universe to Miss Pick Me, Olivia Culpo deserves her crown.”

Culpo then responded in the comments section on TikTok, calling Bingham a “weird human.”
