Oliver Glasner could not be tempted to discuss the idea of winning the first Crystal Palace trophy in spite of a place in the semi -finals of the FA Cup – but has admitted that he will enjoy the prospect of driving his team to the Wembley stadium.
The Austrian was three times. He saw England against Belgium last season and was there to see Ebelechi Eze score his first international goal against Latvia on Monday.
Glasner also dropped off his daughter to see Taylor Swift perform in Wembley, but opted for the fact of presenting himself for an expensive ticket for a concert he did not want to see.
“I don’t want to talk about winning the trophy because even in the next match, we cannot win it,” said the Palais boss.
“These are only the semi-finals and in a cup competition, it doesn’t matter whether you lose in the first round or in the semi-finals, you enter the competition to win it.
“But, yes, it is a great success to reach the semi-finals, and especially in this environment, because it is in Wembley and it is generally English, and I love it.
The boss of Crystal Palace, Oliver Glasner, refused to discuss the prospect of winning the FA Cup

Ebelechi Eze scored and provided a decisive pass while Palace defeated Fulham in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup

Glasner admitted that he was happy that his palace side will have the chance to play Wembley
“It’s great and the three times I was there, I have always gone by tube, and I like the way of Wembley. It’s great when you leave the tube and see the bow, and all the fans walk. This is what I like.
Eze put the palace on the Wembley path. He marked the first and created the second for Ismaila Sarr to control them against Fulham and replacing him Eddie Nketiah added a layer of comfort with the third of a 3-0 victory outside and set up an exciting finish in the season.
“This is the start of the crisis,” said Glasner, who won the Europa League as a boss of Eintracht Francfurt in 2022, the Crystal Palace year was the last in Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals.
“In the Premier League, we have the possibility of entering the upper half. I hope we have 12 games to play, and we have a good momentum, with the players in good shape and in the next two months, we hope, stay together and win many games.
