The ski champion, Ellery, Ellie ‘Curtis, died at the age of 26 after a tragic accident on the tracks of the weekend.
Curtis, a former All-American ski from the NCAA of San Francisco, was declared dead at the Palisades Tahoe Resort in Olympic Valley, California, after having undergone a head injury.
According to La Times, the County Sheriff Department of Placing received a call in difficulty at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
However, Curtis had already died when deputies arrived at the complex.
The ski star, who went to Dartmouth College, obtained a place in the second All-America team in her last year after finishing eight in the giant slalom at the NCAA championships.
His first career victory in the giant slalom occurred in Middlebury in the Snow Bowl the same year.
