A former Oklahoma teacher’s aide is facing rape charges after he allegedly slept with a 16-year-old student just two weeks after starting work at the school.
Ashley Waffle, 22, faces two second-degree rape charges that could land her in prison for 15 years after she allegedly entered into a relationship with a 16-year-old student from the Granite School District in Oklahoma last month, KSWO-TV reported.
Waffle, who began working in the district on October 10, reportedly began communicating with the student on October 25.
Court documents show an investigation was opened Nov. 9 after school officials informed police of a rumored sexual relationship between Waffle and the student.
