OHSAA Releases Football State Semi-Final Pairings

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association has released pairings and sites for the Football State Semifinals playoffs, with Divisions I, II, III and V games on Friday and Divisions IV, VI and VII will play on Saturday. All games start at 7 p.m.
The geography of the regional champions is the main factor in determining how the state semifinalists are matched. A team’s win-loss record, regional seed, and state ranking are not considered in pairings.
Neutral venues receive rental fees from OHSAA, and venues retain revenue from concessions, parking, and program sales. It is rare that an available site is exactly halfway between the two schools.
Tickets for all games in the State Semifinals go on sale Monday afternoon and must be purchased in advance at www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
