NZD/USD falls to lowest since November 2020

| Breaking News Updates | Fox News

Sellers are looking to break key support near the 0.6700 level, which helped stem the initial decline in December. The 38.2 retracement level at 0.6702 adds to the support layer, but both seem to be giving way now in a fall to 0.6690. Of course, the daily/weekly close is still the one that will determine the supposed outage, but given the prevailing risk sentiment, it can be hard to imagine a reversal.

So where does that leave us with NZD/USD?

The next plausible target on any decline from here would be 0.6500 first before getting stuck at the 50.0 retracement level @ 0.6467.

These will be key levels to watch in case we see a downward break continue in the coming sessions.

For now, it’s all about risk mood and since last week there’s been a clear theme that bearish buyers are failing to lift spirits. That says a lot about the potential for this correction to continue, especially with the techniques that also reaffirm it.
