Several protesters demonstrating against coronavirus vaccination mandates at New York restaurants were arrested Friday night after refusing to leave an Olive Garden location in Times Square, according to videos posted on social media.

It is not known how many protesters have been arrested. The NYPD has not publicly commented on the arrests. No acts of vandalism were reported during the demonstration.

Proof of vaccination is required in New York to dine at a restaurant.

Protesters remained inside the Olive Garden for two hours, refusing to leave, prompting the restaurant, which usually stays open until midnight, to close early, according to @ScooterCasterNY.
