CHICAGO (CBS) – Suburban nursing home gets slapped with a big fine. They are accused of failing to protect its workers from COVID-19.
The US Department of Labor has said West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bloomingdale should pay a fine of more than $ 83,000.
OSHA investigators recently performed a follow-up inspection at the facility, more than a year after an employee died from COVID. They found six violations, including failing to test the fit of its workers’ N-95 breathing masks.
